In a groundbreaking collaboration with MAJRA National CSR Fund, Dubai Chambers, MASAR Chartered Accountants, BSA Ahmed Bin Hazeem & Associates LLP, Oakland Odoo ERP.ae, and Qanas Marketing. The workshop on “Corporate Tax Law and Its Fundamentals” took place on January 31, 2024.

The event commenced with an inspiring opening speech delivered by Ms. Noha Mohammed Safar Al Harmoudi, Director of the National Fund for Corporate Social Responsibility about the new era UAE’s economy is entering. It was followed by an insightful speech by Dr. Ahmed Saeed Salem bin Hazeem Al Suwaidi, former Director of Dubai Courts and the main partner at Ahmed Bin Hazeem Advocates and Legal Consultations Office.

The highlight of the workshop was the comprehensive presentation by Mr. Rashid Al-Roken, a tax expert at Masar Chartered Accountants. His lecture focused on the complexities of corporate tax laws, emphasizing their financial implications on the diverse range of businesses and companies in the UAE, providing practical insights on applying tax provisions for each category. Furthermore, Mr. Al-Roken emphasized on the UAE’s commitment to boosting the local economy, showcasing various facilities that are provided by the law.

The event was followed by valuable workshops offering free consultations in legal, financial, and technical domains. Participants had the unique opportunity to interact with professionals, gaining valuable insights into the multifaceted aspects of corporate tax.

This collaborative initiative not only fostered knowledge exchange but also exemplified the shared commitment of key industry players toward advancing corporate tax understanding in the region.
